From an old post office to luxury hotel 

In an old building with a beautiful façade across Copenhagen Central Station, you find the modern luxury hotel, Hotel Villa. A hotel that beautifully combines the old history of the building with modern design suitable for a hotel in luxury class.

In the transformation into creating a luxury hotel of 25,000 m2 with 390 rooms, a nature-inspired courtyards, green gardens and a rooftop pool in the framework of an old and dilapidated post office, it calls a careful focus on the choice of materials in modernising the interior and creating an experience for the guests.

When the interior design also covers the ceiling 

Hotel Villa is a significant example of the new luxury hotels. It has a clear expression of the Nordic design with exclusive furniture and a colour palette in muted, exclusive shades. Everywhere, the ceiling is included in the design, and add the final touch to present each room with its own story. The ceiling is an active and creative surface to create a complete design and environment. 

The interior design uses colours to create a stylish design with beautiful soundwaves thanks to Rockfon acoustic ceilings. 

An exclusive décor with acoustic ceilings

The focus has not only been on the aesthetics when designing the specific spaces. The acoustic comfort has been high on the agenda to be an active part of the interior with proper sound-absorbing materials and a sophisticated design. The beautiful acoustic ceiling tiles from Rockfon Blanka® gave a feeling of exclusivity while creating outstanding soundwaves for people to feel comfortable.

Design with colours to give tranquillity 

All surfaces complement each other and create a sense of coherence. Hotel Villa opted for the inspiring palette of Rockfon Color-all in grey shades to complement the stylish design and to muffle the sound.
