The Daventry, Northamptonshire based centre offers courses which cover every facet of the company’s ceiling and acoustic systems ranges. They range from half day taster sessions through to deep dives into advanced Rockfon systems.
All courses are a mixture of theory and hands-on practical training. Whether distributor, installer, designer, acoustician or anything between, the aim is to help expand knowledge and expertise to benefit your client and your business – and have some fun whilst you’re at it.
Rockfon Commercial Director UK & Ireland, Nigel Watkins, spoke about how gratifying it was to welcome, in addition to valued installers, representatives from each of the major distributors and also from Rockfon Mono Acoustic specialist installers, Panarc Interior Solutions, Pacy & Wheatley, Elmsmere Interior Systems and Aspect Ceilings. He described the launch as a landmark moment which represented a major investment in the belief that skills and training could be a key differentiator for the firm within a competitive market.
FIS (Finishes and Interiors Sector) CEO, lain McIlwee, also addressed the attendees, congratulating the hosts on the ambition of the initiative and speaking about how the new centre filled a vital role within the industry as a resource to train and share knowledge.
Willmott Dixon National Product Team member, Kevin Dundas, gave a presentation focused around how its strategic partnership with Rockfon is built on shared values; a comitment to sustainability, quality and best practice, and why the training centre is a logical step in helping achieve best possible outcomes.
