Van der Valk Theatrehotel De Oranjerie

Roermond, the Netherlands

For the renovation of the four-star Van der Valk Theatrehotel De Oranjerie, QMVH Architectuur aimed to retain the hotel's original character while creating a new connection into an addition: a former telephone exchange building that was recently acquired by the client. Contributing to a refined palette across the hotel's various common areas and introducing acoustic comfort are a variety of Rockfon acoustic ceiling solutions, including multiple black suspended ceilings achieved using the ceiling solutions Rockfon Mono Acoustic and Rockfon Color-all in the Charcoal shade

Park Hyatt River Thames

London, England

2123 square metres of the monolithic ceiling solution Rockfon Mono Acoustic were installed throughout a variety of areas within the 203-key Park Hyatt River Thames hotel, part of the famous One Nine Elms River Tower. "Each space within this project presented a new set of technical and practical challenges, whether it be fitting seamlessly to the elliptical glass fibre-reinforced gypsum feature in the wine bar, to the steel grid design in the all-day dining restaurant, or precisely accommodating apertures for 434 light fittings within the lobby bar", said Director of Acoustics at Pacy & Wheatley David Booth.
