Orac Decor Experience Centre

Barcelona, Spain  

Orac Decor’s first experiential showroom in Barcelona, Spain was designed with an emphasis on scenographic artistry. One of the various areas features the monolithic wall and ceiling solution Rockfon Mono Acoustic in white and a custom green colour, seamlessly flowing from a wall with the same hue.

Paytrail Office

Tampere, Finland 

Paytrail’s office in Tampere, Finland was renovated to ensure that the design is consistent with the company’s commitment to staff well-being. The green ceiling design was thoughtfully selected for both high-performing sound absorption and visual appeal while developing a biophilic and human-centric working environment. In the open-plan working areas, Rockfon Eclipse suspended ceiling islands and Rockfon Canva Wall panels ensure excellent sound absorption.

Brasserie Astoria

Stockholm, Sweden 

Brasserie Astoria, operated by the Frantzén Group, offers a luxurious environment with an interior that combines excellent acoustics, rich colours, wooden columns, and a mix of marble and wood flooring. Joyn Studio designed the restaurant ceiling design using the Rockfon Mono Acoustic monolithic system, ensuring comfortable restaurant acoustics while completing the wooden detailing and respecting the building’s historical details.

Rockfon Office and Showroom

Wijnegem, Belgium 

This state-of-the-art Rockfon office in the city of Wijnegem in Belgium was revamped into a facility that highlights sustainability, design, fire safety, and acoustics. Part of the space is an open working area that features a checkered grey and green ceiling design using Rockfon Color-all acoustic ceiling tiles in the colours Mint and Eucalyptus as well as grey.

Sommerro Hotel

Oslo, Norway  

A former heritage landmark, the new Sommerro Hotel was completed with Rockfon acoustic products to enhance sound absorption and functionality while preserving the building’s original character. LPO Arkitekter designed the entire building in close collaboration with the city antiquarian, opting for the monolithic ceiling solution Rockfon Mono Acoustic in white, coalescing with a soft green, in the bistro. This design provides visitors with a tranquil and luxurious dining ambience while reflecting the interior details of Oslo Lysverker’s head office from 1932.

Suunnittelemo incorporated soothing hues throughout this breakout room to ensure it serves its purpose as a relaxing space. Vantaa, Finland

The Rockfon Office in Roermond was renovated by Judith Muijtjens, founder of Wonderful Day Design, addressing the noise and concentration issues identified in an internal survey. The office was converted into an activity-based workplace following a human-centric design approach in every area. In one of the common spaces, employees can enjoy the atmosphere created by a refreshing light green ceiling.

Milan, Italy  

Peck offers one of its best gastronomic experiences in Milan's CityLife district. The restaurant’s green acoustic ceiling, made up of the monolithic ceiling solution Rockfon Mono Acoustic and installed behind distinct suspended wood accents, provides both visual interest and comfortable speech conditions by mitigating the vocal phenomenon known as the Lombard Effect.

Landmark Arnhem

Arnhem, Netherlands 

This renovated co-working space features wide circulation spaces with a green accent ceiling made up of Rockfon Color-all in the colour Clay, dramatically contrasting against white detailing. “We have made strategic spatial interventions in the interior to improve the dynamics and experience. The green plan of the forecourt is a park-like layout with water features and walking paths… You immediately get a bond, a form of communication with the outside. And inside, the inviting feeling continues”, explains Architect Anne de Bruijn.

Don Bosco Salesian School Complex

Wrocław, Poland 

To solve noise and speech intelligibility issues while creating a colour wayfinding concept, P33 Design Studio improved the acoustics of the school’s circulation spaces with a white and bright green ceiling. The white surface is made up of Rockfon Blanka acoustic ceiling tiles that provide high light reflection, contributing to energy savings and a comfortable indoor environment. Rockfon Color-all ceiling tiles in a green colour contrast against them, allowing for a playful hue that matches the floorcoverings. “For me, it’s very surprising that we managed to perfectly match the colours of the ceiling”, said architect Aleksandra Doniec.

Arena by Schage Co-Working Office

Oslo, Norway  

The design of the Arena by Schage co-working space in Oslo was designed with inspiration from Norway’s natural beauty. Different elements within the building, including the green ceiling created using Rockfon Color-all acoustic tiles, mimic the soothing touch of the seaside and the therapeutic effects of the forest. “We wanted more liveliness and to use colours to create energy and give a ‘good feeling’ to those who would be using the area”, said the project manager.

Houtens School’s lobby features a striking bright green ceiling that creates a clear boundary and transition. “The colours used – including on the ceiling – made the different school functions visible. The choice of materials and colours was very important in the overall design concept”, explains project architect Ronald van Hek.

Peck CityLife Cocktail Bar

Milan, Italy  

The bar area of Peck CityLife features a green ceiling created using the monolithic solution Rockfon Mono Acoustic, ideal for places where outstanding acoustic comfort, design flexibility, and fire protection are required. The green ceiling is combined with a suspended floating raft island, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the bar.

This circulation space in Paytrail's office features a bold yet biophilic open-plan design with Rockfon Eclipse suspended ceiling islands in the Eucalyptus shade. “The cosmic theme running throughout the space allows for thinking and creativity, while the colour schemes are meant to assist with the activities taking place in the area”, explains interior architect Sanna Laukanaho.

ROCKWOOL GBS Office

Warsaw, Poland 

To subtly create a feeling of nature in the office, Arcgency renovated the ROCKWOOL GBS Office in Poland using several Rockfon solutions. Rockfon Eclipse Customised acoustic islands in round shapes and custom green and peach colours were installed throughout the circulation areas, along with other biophilic design elements. “There is a balance in this project. The atmosphere here reduces stress and anxiety by creating space for quiet work”, says designer Krzysztof Draber.

SABA Headquarters

Dinxperlo, the Netherlands 

With the acoustic ceiling solutions Rockfon Pallas and Rockfon Color-all, Te Kiefte Architecten addressed the energy efficiency and sustainability concerns of SABA’s new head office in Dinxperlo, the Netherlands. Combined with 1812 solar panels, roof plants, and a smart climate system, the white and dark green ceiling tiles installed throughout the office create an energy-neutral and acoustically comfortable workplace where employees can focus and be productive.
